Free Public school

Baker Charter Schools are free public charter schools for students who enroll during our regular school year programs. Our public duty is to provide a free and appropriate public education at the best service level we can. For the majority of students there are no payments due to Baker Charter Schools. The funding from Baker Charter Schools comes from the Oregon Department of Education for per pupil funding based on state laws.

Summer School

We do offer summer school and charge a fee for courses since that is outside the traditional school year offerings. Students are able to take two classes (.5 credit each) for a total of 1.0 credit over a 4 week period after school finishes in June.

Field Trips

Baker Charter Schools offers a variety of field trips. Most of these are supplemented with school funds and other times entrance fees may need to be covered by families.
